THE GUESTHOUSE
“La Maravilla” is a beautiful place in the authentic and colorful town called Pedasi. The small Guesthouse is situated in a quiet and very green area, just outside of the pueblo – close to the Arenal Beach as well as surrounded by pristine nature. In the morning you can hear the monkeys howlering from far, see the hummingbirds feed from the hibiscus just outside your window and even hear the waves of the ocean during high tide. At night the stars present you a dazzling view and the fireflies in the open field contribute to the magic of the place.
The house was designed by the famous French architect Jean Francois Provost and built in a Panamanian colonial way with an influence of meridional French-Moroccan style. Lots of charme, warm colors as well as a beautiful design – truly a place to fall in love with at first sight.
The house offers three rooms to rent and contains of a beautiful and relaxing common area, surrounding the swimming pool. The house has a maximum capacity of 7 persons and is dedicated to travelers that appreciate a small place with very personal service. At the “La MaraVilla” things are all made with lots of love and passion in order to make you feel like “being on holidays at home”.
Besides offering rooms to rent we are happy to serve you breakfast, meals or snacks and give you information about the area, point out tours or any activity you could be interested in.
OUR PASSION
“La MaraVilla” is more than just a room to rent. The passion for hosting, cooking and baking, making guests truly feel at home – that is the goal of this unique place. Doing those small things that make a big difference, contributing to an unforgetful vacation experience – that is what “La MaraVilla” stands for. Welcoming people “into our home” and sharing the love for a unique life in Panama. And at the same time running that extra mile to make sure that customers are happy. Certainly always with a big smile and a passion that is sparkling from the eyes.
Our service includes baking our own bread, using fruit from the garden next door to make delicious jam for the breakfast table. Using freshly roasted coffee from the roastery here in Pedasi to support local products. Baking pies that sweeten up your day, even if it might be rainy. Taking care of the small details in order to create beautiful memories that will last for a lifetime.
THE ROOMS
“La MaraVilla” is a small unique place that offers only three rooms to rent. Two double rooms with a private bathroom access as well as a triple room with shared bathroom. All of the rooms contain AC, hot water as well as plenty of space for organizing your travel belongings. Outside of the rooms the guests can also relax around the pool, read a book in a hammock, chill in the loungers, take a small tour through the garden or enjoy a drink in the bar area.
